Linac Cavity
The project aims to provide state-of-the-art technology achieving very high electric field gradient in superconducting Linac cavity, which can be used in high energy high current (~1GeV, 20mA) proton linear accelerator to be built for ADSS programme in India. This, in turn, leads to the generation of clean nuclear power through proper utilization of vast resources of thorium in India. This Linac can also be used in Radioactive Ion beam (RIB) facility. |
