Dear Colleagues,
With great pleasure we bring to you the first announcement of Quark Matter
2008, the 20th International Conference on Ultra-Relativistic
Nucleus-Nucleus Collisions, to be held in Jaipur, India during February
4th to 10th, 2008 with February 3rd being student's day.

Location:
Birla auditorium, Jaipur, one of the best known ultra-modern convention
centre in India. Seven days duration of the conference will include
student's session, academic sessions, excursion and cultural evening.

Fellowships
for young participants:
Financial support will be available for students and young post-doctoral
fellows under the age of 35. Application procedure will be announced in
the near future.

Weather
in Jaipur during the conference:
Jaipur, one of the best known tourist destination in India is known as
India's 'pink city' famous for its royal festivities and hospitalities.
Jaipur is one of the main attractions in tourist golden triangle, with New
Delhi and Agra being the other members. The average temperature in
February in 10-15 degree Celsius.

Hotel:
We are in the process of negotiations with various hotels in Jaipur for
best rates. A range of hotels (2* to 5*) are available whose prices ranges
from $40 to $250 per room per night. We will provide all details very soon
in the conference web page.

Travel:
New Delhi, about 260 km from Jaipur, the conference venue is very well
connected with the world through Indira Gandhi International Airport.
Domestic airways, national highways and railways connect Jaipur to New
Delhi and all other Indian cities. Details will be made available in the
conference website.
